ORGANIC & UPCYCLED MATERIAL
EGYPTIAN ORGANIC COTTON

This cotton is part of the cotton species with long fibers. This fiber equals a length of 30 mm (6 to 7% of the world production) and guarantees exceptional qualities of resistance, softness and absorption capacity.

This cotton is registered in the territory of Egypt, and mainly in the Nile Delta. It benefits from natural irrigation and consumes until 30% less water compared to a conventional crop field. This crop is organic, good for the health of farmers and workers and for the end consumer.

UPCYCLED SAILS

Upcycled sails are marked by their sailing history. Each sail bears the life story of its navigator: regatta, recreational or teaching in the bay of Morlaix or in more far-off, exotic seas. After a decade spent on the ocean, KER MER can now offer them a second life. Today, only sails from recreational boats or sailing schools can be recycled.

The upcycled sails certified by KER MER come from the sailing school of Locquirec or recreational boats from the bay of Morlaix. Given the technical characteristics of the material and its resistance to the effects of time, the texture and aspect of these sails are unique. As a result, they can only be hand-cut and hand-assembled.
